Who is Revolution Promotions?
10 years in the making, and we're just getting started
Revolution Promotions was formed 10 years ago, starting out doing local band websites, flyers for local shows and promoting local shows. As time went by we got in to booking our own shows. While working a 9-5 job, which I dispise and you will read more about in the Rants & Raves section, and going to college, another disappointing experience you will read more about in the Rants & Raves section, I managed to do 2 or more shows a week for almost a whole year.
I managed to work 9-5, book shows, attend college (and stay on the Dean's List), and still attend local and underground shows. However, after a year, I couldn't keep up anymore and we had to stop doing shows, which was very disappointing for me. I had to suck it up with my 9-5 job and finish up school before I could move on with my life.
2010 and beyond
As of May 2010, I have officailly quit the 9-5 world, I'm done with college and school, and now it is time to bring The Revolution. From here on out I have decided to live my life how I want to live it. And that is defeinitely not in a cubicle or working for some company who could care less about you.
